1997 Subaru SVX sport coup, great mountain car, low miles, great condition WARRANTY
For those of you that do not know about the Subaru SVX,,,,, It was imported with year models 1992,3,4,5,6,7. I comes in a variety of colors, the early years it was two toned. It is a traditional ALL WHEEL DRIVE Subaru and is only offered with an automatic transmission, shame on Subaru. It is offered only in a two door coup style and the one engine, the 3.3 boxer 6cyl. The SVX is heavier than most of the newer Subaru’s and rides great, handles the road very well, a great car to drive Winter and Summer. In 1997, the last year of production, I believe all were shipped with all of the LSI options, in other words there were no options.

| Two sets of keys with remote(non-OEM) lock/unlock, owners manual, two sets of floor mats, 4 winter tires mounted on Subaru OEM rims | |
| There has been several after market mod’s done to the car recommended by those in the know: Auxiliary transmission cooler installed, beefed up cabling between the alternator and battery and battery to ground, small car shift kit that improves shifting and transmission life, and upgrading low beam headlights. The early SVX’s were prone to transmission failure, but this deficiency was largely eliminated by the ’97 model year. I had the two transmission mod’s installed just as a preventative. | |
| Car is in excellent running condition |
This is the car for someone who needs the proven performance of Subaru all wheel drive for winter ice and snow conditions, but wants a car that looks and drives like a sports car. The H6 engine used in this car is a 3.3 liter boxer 6cyl version of the one put into all of the high end Subaru’s today.
